LR Announces Program To Assist REALTORS With Do-Not-Call Compliance

May 28, 2004 – Louisiana REALTORS (LR) has partnered with PossibleNOW to offer REALTORS a powerful online tool to assist in complying with federal and state Do-Not-Call laws.

Under the terms of this relationship, PossibleNOW will offer Louisiana REALTOR members special rates for access to DNCQuickcheck, an online service for compliance with federal and state Do Not Call regulations. Individual agents can sign up for DNCQuickcheck for only $10 per month, which represents a 50% discount over PossibleNOW's regular pricing.

DNCQuickcheck provides a complete set of tools to help LR members comply with all aspects of the federal and state Do Not Call laws. DNCQuickcheck is specifically designed to meet the compliance needs of individual real estate agents, allowing them to easily and quickly identify consumers who don’t want to be contacted.

“We hope to facilitate our members’ marketing and sales efforts by endorsing DNCQuickcheck as a Do-Not-Call compliance tool," said Kevin Calbert, LR's Business & Technology Services Director.   • A “Policy Wizard” to create and fulfill a company’s Do-Not-Call policy to consumers upon request.
  • Identification of pertinent “Established Business Relationship” rules associated with Do-Not-Call numbers to find consumers who can be contacted.
  • Notification about changes to Do-Not-Call Regulations.
  • Management of internal Do-Not-Call lists.
